First Year Camp
What: The Monash LSS First Year Camp is an annual tradition which kick starts an amazing year of LSS activities. It is a great opportunity to make a whole bunch of new friends who’ll help make your first year of law all the more fun!
When: from Friday 2nd March - meeting in the Law Basement at 9.30am until Sunday 4th March – arriving back at Monash at about 3.30pm
Where: Camp Rumbug (Foster North)
How Much: $190 (Covers buses, meals, the lot!)
Bring: lunch for the first day (or money for when we make our stop), sleeping bag, pillow, clothes, toiletries, towel, bathers, costumes for dress ups for both nights , and if you want to drink BYO alcohol or bring money to pick up supplies on the way!
What we’ll be doing: on the drive up to Camp Rumbug we’ll be stopping to grab lunch (we’ll be close to Maccas/KFC/Subway if you don’t want to bring your own) and to pick up supplies from a Bottle O (only if you want to drink of course!) Once we get to camp we have a weekend full of activities planned, starting on the first night with our big trivia competition and MASSIVE dress up party (make sure you bring your ‘High School Stereotypes’ costume!) The fun continues on Saturday with Beer Olympics and Sketches. The dress up theme for Saturday night is 'What I want to be when I grow up' (anyone who dresses as a lawyer will be sent home).
It promises to be a brilliant weekend, so hope to see you there!
