Law Ball
September 17 2009... Law Ball is coming!
After 12 months of teetotaling hibernation the species know as monashus lawstudentus awakens around the month of August, ready to perform the animalistic ritual known as "cutting loose" aka "having-a-big one" aka "going completely sick". This naturally occurs at the event known as the Monash Law Ball.
Each year the Law Ball is attended by over 1350 students from Monash and abroad. The night is complete with three course meal, drinks, music, dancing and afterparty. 2003 saw the year of the bling-bling and Matrix as the red-carpet was rolled out for an evening in Hollywood. Whilst in 2004 the bright lights and glitz and glamour of Las Vegas came to town taking centre stage. The 2005 Heaven and Hell themed Ball was devilish to be sure. In 2006 saw a return of big shoulder-pads and bad perms as the eighties struck back, in 2007 we warped back to the 1920s, and last year we rocked out to Winter!
In 2009 the Law Ball will be held on Thursday 17th September 2009- Keep the date free!
