Education
11. Charles Darwin University Online Intensive Cross-Institutional Study

CDU offers summer semester law electives each year.  Summer semester is between November and February.  Electives are open for cross-institutional enrolment by students from other Australian law schools, subject to enrollment approval by both CDU and your home university.

The two summer semester electives open to cross-institutional students for 2011-2012 are:

LWA210 Introduction to Islamic Law – intensive mode from 17 December 2011;
LWA211 Indonesian Law – intensive mode from 23-28 January 2012.

Both are described in timetables and course documentation as “Contemporary Issues” units.  Both are offered in intensive mode for study wholly online.  Accordingly you can study these units from wherever you are in Australia or overseas, but you must be able to attend live online in the Collaborate virtual classroom throughout the designated teaching days listed above.  For many prospective students that will mean you will only be able to enrol if you can get annual leave from your employment for the designated teaching days.

The final date for summer semester enrolment is 18 November 2011.
