There are a large range of books in stock. We are selling items listed

In addition to this, we stock a number of other titles for elective
units (such as Ethics and Evidence), dictionaries, study guides and
Acts. A full catalogue of books should be available on the LSS
website; the availability of select titles should be checked there.
The majority of books in stock are in good condition. Most titles in
stock are also the relevant edition. As such, they will be sold at a
price between 40%- 70% of the price that Legibook charges (the
booklist and prices can be downloaded here:
http://www.law.monash.edu.au/legibook.html).

INFORMATION FOR SELLERS
-WHAT SELLERS NEED TO DO-
To sell any old books, please bring them to the LSS Office during
our specified opening hours. When dropping off books, they must also
be accompanied by a 'Seller Form'. This form is available for download
from the LSS website (see below), or in hard copy from the LSS office too.
-CONDITION/ EDITION/ BOOKLIST-
Books in reasonable condition will be accepted for sale. Only the
current edition (as nominated on the Legibook price last), or previous
few editions of the title can be submitted. Furthermore, only books on
the booklist or popular titles can be submitted, as they just won't
sell otherwise.
-PRICING-
We will then grade the books submitted, and price them accordingly.
Depending on the condition and edition of the book submitted, you can
expect your book to be priced between 70%- 40% of the price that
Legibook charges.
Please note that the LSS does not take any commission for this, and
that you will receive 100% of the listed sale price back.
-PAYMENT-
At the conclusion of the sale in Week 4 of Semester 1, payments will
be processed. Therefore, cheques and/or unsold books will be available
for collection from Week 6. It is your responsibility to then come and
collect these cheques and/or unsold books. Exceptions will be made in
special circumstances (e.g. you are overseas); if this is the case,
please inform us of this on the seller form.
However, everyone who submitted books will be notified through email
about dates and times for the collection of cheques and/or unsold
books.
