Guest Lectures
Throughout the year, the Monash Law Students’ Society hosts prominent speakers to educate and inspire students about social justice issues. Students are often extremely motivated by engaging with leaders who actively promote social justice in their fields and within the legal system generally.
Topics featured in previous years have addressed issues such as law reform, immigration and refugees, Aboriginal rights and general bars to sufficient access to justice. Last year, the Monash Law Students Society’s guest lecture program included the Honourable Michael Kirby AC CMG, Attorney-General Robert Clark and former Attorney-General Rob Hulls.
If you are interested in presenting a guest lecture or have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact Matthew Hearn, Vice-President (Education) at education@monashlss.com.
