Stress, anxiety and depression affect nearly a third of all lawyers. Young lawyers and law students are particularly vulnerable. Only by talking about these issues openly, and addressing the reasons behind the alarming statistics, can we work towards a healthier profession.
For this seminar, the Young Lawyers’ Section has brought together key speakers, experienced in the management of stress, anxiety and depression, to discuss the issues and how the legal profession can work collaboratively to ensure that stress and mental health issues are effectively addressed.
When: Wednesday 21 July, 6- 7.30pm
Where: LIV Lecture Theatre, 470 Bourke Street, Melbourne
Cost: FREE for YLS AND LIV members (registration is required)
$25 for non members
