Overview

The Academic Support Officer (ASO) is responsible for liaising with Faculty regarding students’ feedback on all academic issues. Issues with assessments, grievances with staff and timetabling are common. 

 

The ASO is a student representative on a number of committees. These include the Faculty Education Committee, which is below the Dean as the main decision-making body, the Student Consultative Forum, which provides students with an opportunity to discuss important issues, and the Academic Progress Committee.
