Hi everyone, 

 

Our names are Linh Thai (LLB) and Oliver Scholast (PG) and we are the Careers Directors for 2023. On behalf of our team, we would like to invite you to all the exciting events we have planned for this year. We aim to provide Monash Law students with a comprehensive range of career-related events and resources to complement their legal education and enhance their understanding of the legal industry.

 

Unlike a lot of other departments in the LSS, Careers is a combined portfolio. This means that all the resources are shared between both undergraduate and postgraduate cohorts. The advantage of this is that we have more resources available to deliver high quality events to all Monash students all year round.

 

As students ourselves, we understand the importance of being equipped with the right skills, knowledge and experience to succeed in the competitive legal field. That's why we are dedicated to providing students with opportunities to network, gain insights and develop their skills. Whether you're an undergraduate or postgraduate law student, our events and resources are designed to meet your needs and help you reach your career goals.

 

We have a range of events planned for this year, including networking opportunities with industry professionals, workshops and seminars, mock interviews and much more. In addition, we have created an array of resources to help you in your job search and help you better understand what the legal industry is looking for.
